New Workout Craze in Fargo Inspires People to Live Healthier Lives

By Uncategorized

The new workout craze in Fargo has people dancing away their extra weight and stress.

The women behind XaBeat say it is a dance-fitness program that is easy to follow. It is all American music and puts a smile on people’s faces.

They want to inspire women to get in better shape and live an all-around healthier life. In fact, they don’t have instructors– they have inspirators. The women’s mission is to inspire each other to go to the gym and live a healthier, happier life.

One of the newest faces inspiring women at the gym is Leia Bohl (Yep, the NDSU Football Coach’s wife.) She knows a thing or two about inspiring people. Watch the story and hear why she thinks the class is so addictive.

XaBeat classes are held at Courts Plus, Health Pros, Total Balance and Xtreme Measures in Fargo.

XaBeat is dancing its way into the Twin Cities

By Uncategorized

“I thoroughly enjoy reaching out as an instructor to people who need a lift: perhaps in a bad relationship, out of shape, postpartum, over weight or depressed. Love the cardio junkies in class too.”

I came upon Dani Fergan teaching a XaBeat class in Detroit Lakes a few years ago. It didn’t take long before I became obsessed with it: the music, the moves, the energy, the sweat, and the party atmosphere. It was fun, not work! A year later I could picture myself teaching it but couldn’t figure out how, given I lived in Minneapolis. Enter Kim Brandt. I started attending Kim’s classes in Fargo when I was in the area. Then I went to some other instructors’ classes. Right away I could tell there was amazing consistency in the quality of the routines, and the integrity of the instructors. They are all remarkable in their ability to connect with and motivate their classes. Naturally I wanted to become certified and be part of this cutting-edge fitness program, but in Minneapolis. Kim and Dani had talked about launching in the Twin Cities market, so now I am trained as an instructor as well as certified by XaBeat to train other instructors.

We are currently doing demo classes at Boutique Studios in Minneapolis, St. Paul and suburbs.  This is an exciting time for XaBeat. I feel blessed to be a part of it. It is a privilege to teach, and I thoroughly enjoy reaching out as an instructor to people who need a lift: perhaps in a bad relationship, out of shape, postpartum, over weight or depressed. Love the cardio junkies in class too. It is evident that all of these people find happiness in achieving the “fitness high” that comes with doing XaBeat.

If you know someone in the Twin Cities looking for a class or wanting to train as an instructor, let us know!
